Providers: Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register as a Provider?

To register as a social service or medical service provider for the 2012 San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s Women's Resource Fair please complete and submit the Registration Form. Once you have submitted the Registration Form you will receive an email confirming your participation and providing additional information about the day of the event within 48 hours. If you have not received confirmation of your registration within 48 hours, please contact medicalservices@wrfsandiego.org or socialservices@wrfsandiego.org.

When should I arrive at the Fair?

Golden Hall will open at 6:30 a.m. Allow sufficient time to locate and set-up your table—participants will begin to arrive at 8:30 a.m.

What do I do when I arrive at the Fair?

Please check in at the Registration Desk located in the Plaza area near the Box Office.

Where Do I Park?

Visit Directions and Location for information on parking at the Fair.

Will food be provided to Providers and Volunteers?

No. In years past coffee and snacks have been provided. However, due to budget constraints, we are no longer able to offer food or drink to Providers. Please bring enough food and drink to last the entire day.

Can I both volunteer and participate in the Fair?

No. In the past, there have been issues associated with individuals who are agency volunteers, and are also eligible Participants accessing Fair services. To minimize confusion, please instruct staff who may also be eligible Participants to keep their roles separate and distinct. The role of a Provider is to staff the table and provide information on services. Providers who have registered and are staffing a table will not be allowed to access to the services provided to participants. We recognize that this can be a sensitive situation and appreciate your cooperation and assistance in communicating this request to your staff.

What if we have to cancel?

In the event that your agency is unable to participate, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make necessary changes in the floor plan.
